1NCE will inform the customer prior to the 10-year contract ending. The customer has the option to order a Top-Up, according to the condition at that time, and the contract will then be extended according to these conditions. Additionally, a customer can reactivate his cards up to 12 months after the end of the contract according to the conditions at that time. After this transitional period without any action of the customer, the contract will finally be terminated.

In partnering with China Telecom and the 1NCE multi-IMSI SIM, 1NCE can extend its coverage across mainland China, Macao, and Hong Kong with permanent seamless NB-IoT and 4G connectivity.

Yes, when crossing a border between two countries covered by the 1NCE footprint, the 1NCE SIM card ensures seamless connectivity. However, this only applies to the connectivity standards 2G, 3G and 4G. NB-IoT does not support seamless cell handover when switching cells. In this case, the connection is lost and has to be re-established. You should also note that NB-IoT is not yet supported in all 1NCE footprint countries.

1NCE offers an API that allows customers to integrate all relevant functions for managing, controlling and monitoring 1NCE SIM cards into an external system. Information on the API can be found at 1NCE API

No, voice support is not included in the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat. Only data and text messages are supported.

The 1NCE Footprint currently covers over 100 countries worldwide. In all these countries the 1NCE SIM card can transmit on 2G, 3G and 4G. NB-IoT is currently only supported in selected countries in Europe and Asia, therefore NB-IoT is only available in the 1NCE Footprint in a few cases. Our coverage map shows the current availability worldwide.

The radio technology standard NB-IoT is currently not being fostered by all wireless providers in Europe, meaning NB-IoT is and will remain available in only some European countries. A current list of the countries and the respective mobile providers offering or expanding NB-IoT capabilities is provided by the GSMA . 1NCE currently has access to NB-IoT networks in Germany, Austria, the UK, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and China.

Regardless of the wireless network (2G, 3G, 4G or NB-IoT), data is sent with a maximum band width of up to 1 Mbits/s.

With the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat of 10 Euros net, customers receive an activated SIM card allowing them to both send and receive data on the NB-IoT, 2G, 3G or 4G networks during the activation period of max. 10 years. The data is sent straight to the customer’s system via an open VPN tunnel. Customers can choose how much data they send/use and when. The 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat includes a data volume of 500 MB, which can be used within 10 years. The IoT Flat Rate also includes the use of the 1NCE customer portal, which allows customers to manage SIM cards and purchase further data from 1NCE. On top of the 10 Euros for the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat there will be additional charges for VAT as well as shipping costs.

1NCE only offers one data plan – the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat . There are no other plans available.

As standard, the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat includes a SIM card with the form factors 2FF, 3FF and 4FF in the all-in-one format. Additionally the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat can be used also with a so called SIM Chip MFF2 for an extra fee.

1NCE currently supports NB-IoT exclusively in Germany, Austria, the UK, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and China with more than 90% coverage each.
Based on 1NCE technology, only Telekom Deutschland offers further NB-IoT roaming for selected European countries with its Business Smart Connect rates .

The 1NCE IoT Connectivity Suite is a platform that provides instruments for customers IoT/Smart Devices communication and management. It consists of the communication layer, control software, and multi-platform libraries and clients to bootstrap development of any kind of IoT Application like smart energy, home automation, remote sensing, telemetry, remote control and monitoring software, and much more. Speaking more technically, it is a scalable, hardware-agnostic cloud-based microservice platform with device-management APIs in different protocols, which allow customers to set up and monitor device connectivity, control them, and analyze the behaviour. Our platform covers the whole flow starting from integration with our Mobile Core Network, Data Transition, Validation, and Collection up to basic Analytics capabilities. Currently, the public-IP-breakout / Public-Internet-Breakout is the same for all IMSI. A local PGW in China is planned for the end of 2021.

There is no Chinese Network firewall issue, because the internet breakout is in Europe. All sensor data are transferred via our partner China Telecom Global directly to us.

The coverage of the 1NCE For All card is fixed. With the upgrade to the 1NCE IoT Lifetime Flat, the coverage of the card can be extended to more than 100 countries.

1NCE offers the free of charge 1NCE For All product exclusively through the AWS Marketplace .

The free 1NCE For All product is limited to a term of 12 months and does not renew automatically. To use the card beyond these 12 months, proactive action by the customer is required.
