Ubirch and 1NCE take IoT safety to series production - at the Mobile World Congress 2020

Cologne, 18/12/2019 – At the Mobile World Congress 2020 in Barcelona, blockchain expert Ubirch and 1NCE, the mobile communications provider for the Internet of Things, will present a joint solution for secure data communications.

The Internet of Things (IoT) gives objects a unique identity and enables them to communicate mission critical information back to a central backend. A major concern of corporate users in this rapidly growing market is that many IoT architectures are vulnerable to manipulation via hacks, and the data exchanged between devices is not always 100% fraud-proof. The cooperation between Ubirch and 1NCE provides protection against such unauthorized access and thus manipulation. As of March 2020, 1NCE IoT SIM cards can be configurated with Ubirch's award-winning security technology right from the start. The Ubirch process seals sensor data directly at its source – on the SIM Chip, and not only after it has been stored in a blockchain in the cloud.

Experience a detailed demonstration of the new 1NCE SIM cards with Ubirchs encryption firmware live during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona: Booth CS60, Congress Square .

Ubirch CEO Stephan Noller and 1NCE COO Kim Juchem will be on-site at our joint booth in Barcelona from 24 to 27 February 2020. If you are interested in an interview, please contact us.
