Powerdot

Powerdot is a Portuguese company focused on developing and operating electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Their primary goal is to expand the availability of charging stations, particularly in high-traffic areas such as retail spaces (shopping malls, supermarkets, retail parks and specialty stores), hotels, and restaurants. The company partners with businesses and real estate owners to install and manage EV chargers, offering solutions that provide easy, fast, and reliable EV charging. They aim to accelerate sustainable mobility by bringing more access to charging points across multiple regions.

Powerdot intends to expand its EV charging solutions across the European region, including France, Spain, and Poland. However, the company faced specific operational challenges. A growing charging network needed a secure, reliable, and simple way of management and connection between devices and accurately control their charging points. In addition, Powerdot also needed a solution that would coincide with their strategy of rapid growth and allow them to scale up operations without facing connectivity or service interruptions.
