Background

Webiot by Pixoo is a cloud-connected IoT sensor designed to rapidly deploy IoT solutions in stores, offices, and accommodation facilities. It offers a low-risk and cost-effective approach to integrating IoT technology. The company was searching for a trustworthy and cost-effective solution to support IoT device communication and data management.

Challenges
Pixoo encountered one of the most common problems within IoT communication – high costs for connectivity. Webiot has a rental business model, so there is a period when gateway equipment is in stock. With conventional SIMs, a basic monthly charge was incurred even during the inventory period.  Existing SIM card solutions had complex pricing structures, complicating expense management for clients. Additionally, there was a necessity to improve energy consumption and remote management of devices.
Solution

1NCE addressed Pixoo's challenges with its IoT Lifetime flat subscription, which enabled them to avoid monthly payments and price management. Pixoo can now use the 1NCE platform to easily acquire and control data, ensuring that devices are working smoothly. As a result, the total costs for communication decreased by 50%.

1NCE's simple pricing structure was a perfect fit for our business model.
